NOTICE - Regional rapid antigenic swab screening

WHEN AND WHERE WILL PADS BE MADE?

The swabs will be made at the Piazza del Comune (Piazza Regina Margherita). You can be subjected to the swab either inside your own car (with drive-in system) or on a dedicated pedestrian path.

The days and times are as follows:

-Thursday, 9.30-12.30 / 14.00-16.00, all residents from 70 years (inclusive) up.

-Friday, 9.30-12.30 / 14.00-16.00, all residents from 51 to 69 years

-Saturday, 9.30-12.30 / 14.00-16.00, all residents from 6 to 50 years. *

* (all underage residents must be accompanied by their parents)

Those who, due to work commitments or other reasons, cannot undergo the tampon on the indicated day, can still show up on one of the 3 days. In fact, the distinction is non-binding organizational.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING?

In order to take the test, you must have a VALID IDENTITY CARD (CF) AND IDENTITY DOCUMENT.

To speed up time, we recommend that you bring the pre-filled form that you can download either from the Municipium app or from this link. For those who cannot print the form, one will still be delivered to be filled in on site.

HOW WILL THE BUFFER BE MADE?

This is a rapid antigen test. It is a nasopharyngeal swab able to detect the presence of the virus and to give the result in a short time. The test is safe and painless.

IS THE TEST PAID?

No, the test is completely free.

IS REQUIRED?

The swab is on a voluntary basis, but we invite the whole population to undergo the test to have a complete and clear screening of any positivity in the country.


WHO CAN OR CANNOT DO IT?

The swab can be made by citizens residing or domiciled in the province of L'Aquila with the age of over 6 years.

They will not be able to:

those who have symptoms that indicate a COVID-19 infection

Who is sick for any other reason;

Those who have already been tested and are awaiting the outcome;

Who is in quarantine or in solitary confinement;

Who has already scheduled a date eg a tampon;

Children under the age of 6;

Who is in charge of retirement homes, nursing homes or residential facilities.

WHO WILL TAKE THE TESTS?

The swabs will be made by doctors and nurses who will collaborate on a voluntary basis. In addition to the medical staff, they will give us civil protection volunteers who will help manage the queue.

HOW WILL THE OUTCOME BE COMMUNICATED? BOTH POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE

The result of the test, which takes place within 3 hours, will be communicated on the telephone number and email indicated on the form. Once the test is done, the citizen must go to their home pending the outcome.
